A print after a drawing by Raphael (c.1504-05) now in the Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.530E). The drawing is a preparatory study for the painting of 'Saint George and the Dragon' now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.609; see RCIN 851441). Lettered with production details and numbered on plate at upper right (N. XV). Published in S. Mulinari, 'Disegni originali d'eccellenti pittori esistenti nella Real Galleria di Firenze...', 1774, plate XVI. A photograph of the drawing at RCIN 851444.
