A facsimile of a drawing by Raphael (c.1506) now in the Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.529E). The drawing is pricked for transfer and is thought to have been served as the cartoon for the small painting of 'Saint George with the Dragon' (c.1506) now in the National Gallery, Washington DC (inv. no.1937.1.26; see RCINs 851448, 851449). Stamped with the mark of Benjamin Robert Haydon (Lugt 412). Published in 'Disegni originali d'eccellenti pittori esistenti nella reale galleria di Firenze', Florence 1774, no.132. A photograph of the drawing at RCIN 851450.
