A print after a painting by Raphael (c.1507) now in the National Gallery, London (inv. no.NG 168). According to the lettering below image, the painting was with Lord Northwick in London when the plate was drawn (1823), and in the collection of William Beckford, Bath, when the print was published (1824). Lettered with production details and stamped with the collector's mark of Desnoyers (Lugt 101). Photographs of the painting at RCINs 851456, 851457, 851458.
