A print after a a painting catalogued by Ruland (1876) as being then in the Rothpletz Collection at Aarau in Switzerland. As stated by the lettering below the image, the portrait was believed to be by Raphael and known as 'La Bella Visconti'. Lettered with production details. Stamped with the publisher's blind stamp (not in Lugt). A photograph of the painting at RCIN 852140.
