An etching reproducing the self-portrait of Raphael depicted in the fresco 'The School of Athens', painted by Raphael in c.1509-10 in the Stanza della Segnatura, Vatican. Lettered with the title. Signed by the printmaker. Trimmed within the platemark. This print was probably published in "Illustrazione storico-pittorica con incisioni a contorni delle pitture di Raffello Sanzio da Urbino nel Vaticano : accresciuta di sopra venti soggetti inediti data alla luce da Pietro Paolo Montagnani", 1834.
