Depictions of biblical stories

Ruland listed only one painting of an Old Testament subject as by Raphael in this section – the Vision of Ezekiel (Galleria Palatina, Florence). Other Old Testament subjects appear in different categories of the Raphael Collection, such as the frescoes in the Vatican Logge (portfolios 34–37) and the Sistine Chapel tapestries (portfolios 31–33).
