An anonymous copy after an engraving by Marcantonio Raimondi (RCIN 851804: after a design traditionally reputed to be by Raphael). First state. It has been suggested that a reversed drawing attributed to Giovanni Francesco Penni in the collection of Leo Steinberg might have served as modello for the engraving by Raimondi (see Shoemaker/Broun 1981, no.38a)
