A photograph of two fragments of a black-chalk cartoon attributed to Raphael by Passavant (1860), who catalogued them as being then in the possession of Frédéric Reiset. His collection was then sold to the Duc of Aumale in 1861, who is in fact described as the owner in Ruland's Raphael Collection catalogue (1876).
