A lithograph after a painting then in the possession of Mr. Wenderlstadt, Frankfurt. Lettered with the title and production details.

In Ruland's Raphael Collection catalogue (1876), the painting was described as being the possession of Count Luckner, Dresden. The painting is a copy of Raphael’s so-called Esterházy Madonna (1507-08) now in the Szepmüvészeti Múzeum, Budapest (inv. no.71; see RCIN 850819 for a photograph of it).
