This engraving is a reworked state of a print by Marco Dente related to the so-called Madonna del Pesce, a painting by Raphael and his workshop (c.1513-14) now in the Museo del Prado, Madrid. Signed with initials on tablet at lower left: MAF, and lettered with Salamanca's address. Not included in Ruland's Raphael Collection catalogue (1876).
