A photograph of a drawing listed by Ruland (1876) as being then in the Uffizi, Florence. The drawing is thought to be a copy after a lost study by Raphael. Another drawing of this subject is in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.WA1846.268). A photograph of the Ashmolean drawing can be found at RCIN 851251.

The photograph shows the three-quarter seated Virgin, her head turned to the left, holding the Christ Child with both hands, who rests His hands on His mother's breast.
