A photograph of a pen and ink drawing now in the British Museum, London (inv. no.1860,0616.119). The drawing, formerly attributed to Raphael, has been recently ascribed to Berto di Giovanni (see Bibliographic References). Not included in Pouncey/Gere (1962).

The photograph shows the full-length seated Virgin, holding the Christ Child on her lap, who clutches her mantle with His right hand. Mother and Child both look down to the right.
