A photograph of a drawing by Raphael (c.1502) currently housed in the Städel Museum, Frankfurt am Main (inv. no.376). The drawing may be a study for a never executed altarpiece. The photograph shows the full-length Virgin, seating on a throne and holding the blessing Christ Child on her lap, with St Nicholas of Tolentino standing at left; within an architectural setting, with landscape beyond.
