A reversed engraving after the so-called ‘Madonna della Quercia’, a painting attributed to Raphael and his workshop (c.1518-19) now in the Museo del Prado, Madrid (inv. no.303) generally reputed to be after a design by the master. Second state. Lettered at lower left, on the base of the column, with attribution of the design to Raphael: R.V. INV. Lettered at lower left with the publisher's address.
