A lithographic facsimile of a drawing by Raphael (c.1507) now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.WA 1855.91v). Ruland (1876) suggested that the drawing may be a study for the figure of the Virgin in Raphael’s so-called La Belle Jardinière (1508) now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.602; see RCIN 850796 for a photograph of it).
