Lucretia
after 1510Engraving | 22.6 x 13.8 cm (sheet of paper) | RCIN 852185
This engraving is a reversed copy (Copy B) after a print by Marcantonio Raimondi based upon a (supposedly lost) drawing by Raphael, an impression of which can be found at RCIN 852184. Lettered with inscription in Greek at right, and two lines in Latin in the lower margin.
Bartsch described this anonymous engraving as in the manner of Jerom Wierix (c.1553-1619). Massari (in Raphael Invenit 1985) suggested an attribution to Agostino Veneziano.
