Subjects including episodes from the lives of Cleopatra, Dido, Scipio and Lucretia are contained within this portfolio. Marcantonio Raimondi’s engraving The Plague (Il Morbetto) is also housed in this group, along with other prints after the same design and photographs of drawings connected with it. This portfolio additionally includes reproductions of works depicting unidentified historical subjects.
