Photograph of two officers of the 47th Regiment with their horses. The horses stand facing each other with the officer on the left mounted on his horse and the officer to the right standing beside his. A soldier stands between the horses saluting. All are wearing military uniform. There are two tents behind them and another man stands further back to the left. The 47th Regiment served in many of the major battles of the Crimean War including the Siege of Sevastopol.
