The town of Balaklava

Among them to the left is the harbour where several ships are anchored. There is a steep hill behind the town. The British used the town of Balaklava as a base during the Crimean War. They received their supplies through the small port and transported them by rail to troops engaged in the Siege of Sevastopol.
