Photograph which is one of five sections of a panoramic picture of the Plains of Balaklava. The others in the series are 2500474, 2500475, 2500476 and 2500477. The valley is in the centre with hills behind. In the foreground there is a road and a small group of tents can be seen to the left.
The Battle of Balaklava was fought in this area of the Crimea.
