Photograph of a group of five officers from the 71st Highlanders. One officer is sitting on the ground with three officers gathered to the left and one standing slightly apart to the right. They are all wearing the uniform of the regiment including tartan trousers and caps. A dog is sitting up begging in front of them, and there are tents and huts behind. The 71st Highlanders served during the Crimean War and fought in the Siege of Sevastopol.
