Photograph of four officers of the 57th Regiment gathered by the entrance of an underground shelter. Two men are seated and one stands to the right holding a stick in his right hand. All are wearing military uniform and are smoking pipes. There is a tent behind them to the right. The 57th Regiment served during the Crimean War and were photographed on a number of occasions by Roger Fenton.
