Photograph of Lord Raglan's house. The house is a low white bungalow surrounded by trees, small wooden huts and tents. There is a long stone hut in front of it.
Lord Raglan commanded the British troops during the Crimean War and died in the Crimea shortly after the Siege of Sevastopol. In October 1854 he established his home and headquarters in this well positioned farmhouse near Sevastopol.
