Photograph of a group of four officers from the 71st Highlanders including a Colour Sergeant. The Colour Sergeant stands to the left facing right, wearing full marching order and holding a long rifle. To the right there are three officers, the one in the middle sitting on a rock covered by a fur and the others standing. There are tents and wooden huts behind them. The 71st Highlanders served during the Crimean War and fought in the Siege of Sevastopol.
