Photograph of General Emile Harbillon standing facing partly left with his head turned towards the camera. He is wearing military uniform with epaulets, a sash and insignia and has a sword by his side. His hat is on the chair beside him to the right. There are several signatures, including that of the photographer Gustave Le Gray, on the lower right corner of the photograph.

General Emile Harbillon commanded a division of French infantry during the Crimean War.
