Photograph of Colonel Cunynghame (1812-1884) with two other officers. Colonel Cunynghame is standing in front of his horse holding a sword in his left hand. To the left is a officer mounted on a horse facing forwards and to the right another officer is mounted facing left. They are all wearing military uniform and there is a group of tents behind them. Colonel Cunynghame served during the Crimean War and fought in many of the major battles including the Battle of Inkerman and the Siege of Sevastopol.
