Captain Webb's Hut

Photograph of Captain Webb's hut with a group of soldiers from the 4th Dragoon Guards gathered around it. Captain Webb stands in the doorway of the wooden hut with Colonel Hodge standing beside him to the left. Mrs Rogers stands to the right and there are three horses facing partly left. There is one tent to the left of the hut and two to the right with a hillside behind.
Captain Webb served with the 4th Dragoon Guards during the Crimean War. Mrs Rogers, the wife of a non-commissioned officer, acted as a cook and laundress for the regiment.
