Photograph of Captain Hume (1825-1891) and Captain Snodgrass waiting for General Sir John Campbell. Captain Hume sits by the entrance of a tent facing left and holding the reins of the horse in front of him. Captain Snodgrass stands beside the horse facing right. To the left is another man and a horse. There is an area of open land behind. Captain Hume and Captain Snodgrass both served with the 90th Regiment during the Crimean War.
