Photograph of Captain Hall and a group of soldiers of the 14th Regiment gathered on a hillside around a flagpole. The men are sitting and standing in a semi circle, with a man mounted on a horse to the right and another standing beside his horse. All are wearing military uniform and most carry swords. The 14th Regiment of Foot served during the Crimean War and later became The Prince of Wales's Own (West Yorkshire Regiment).
