Photograph of a full length portrait of Princess Louise, later Duchess of Argyll (1848-1939), standing, facing slightly towards the left. She turns her head and looks towards the right. She places both hands on a plinth beside her, placing a plumed hat and striped shawl on the plinth. There is a balustrade behind her, on which sits a floral arrangement.
