Photograph of a full length portrait of Princess Louise, later Duchess of Argyll (1848-1939) standing, facing away from the camera. She is depicted stirring a cauldron, hanging from a wooden support. She wears a hat and fitted dress. Princess Louise is dressed as the embodiment of 'Winter' for the Tableaux of the Seasons, performed at Windsor Castle.
