Photograph of a full length portrait of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII (1841-1910) standing, facing towards the camera. He leans his right arm on a wooden support. A cauldron hangs from the wooden support. The Prince wears a long white beard and wig, and a hat and a cape. Fake snow covers the cape and hat. The Prince is dressed as the embodiment of 'Winter' in the Tableaux of the Seasons, performed at Windsor Castle.
