It features nine carbon prints of paintings of Prince Albert, shown in a variety of settings, poses and outfits.

QPN 239 and 240 are prints of a painting by Thorburn showing Prince Albert during his last illness in December 1861. He is holding the draft memorandum on the 'Trent' question.

QPN 1556 are prints of the earliest known photographic image of a member of the royal family. The daguerreotype of Prince Albert was made in 1842.

QPN 709 is a print of an 1850 painting by Winterhalter, depicting a half-length portrait of Prince Albert (see also RCIN 402327).
