Photograph of Prince Friedrich of Glücksburg standing facing front. He holds his top hat in his right hand, his left arm rests on a plinth; drapery to right. 
In 1841 he married Adelheid, second daughter of Georg Wilhelm, Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe. He succeeded his brother Karl as Duke in 1878.
