The group stand in a line, facing towards the camera. They pose in front of a dark colour sheet, used as a backdrop. The photograph was taken at Buckingham Palace. There is a tree and a built structure located on the far left side of the photograph, indicating the photograph was likely taken outside, on the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
