Photograph of the construction of the Royal Mausoleum in Frogmore, the burial site of Prince Albert (1819-61). The structure is covered with scaffolding and men can be seen working on the building.

Construction began on the mausoleum in March 1862. Following her death in 1901, Queen Victoria (1819-1901) was interned in the mausoleum.
