Following Albert’s premature death, Victoria commissioned the creation of photographs and decorative objects that memorialised her beloved husband

    Album containing photographs (RCINs 2101418-2101501) of the construction of the Mausoleum at Frogmore. The album is bound in black leather with a tooled front cover. The title of the album is tooled with gilt on the front cover.

    The album is volume one in a series of two. The second album (RCIN 2101502) tracks the construct of the Royal Mausoleum from 4 April 1862 to 16 November 1863.
