Following Albert’s premature death, Victoria commissioned the creation of photographs and decorative objects that memorialised her beloved husband

Photograph of the Albert Room, Windsor Castle, which was also King George IV's Bedroom. The room includes two single beds decorated with wreaths. A bust of the Prince Consort by William Theed is placed on a high plinth in between the beds.
