Photograph of a tablet of David showing the central theme of David writing his psalms as he is regaled by a choir of Angels. The tablet has an ornamental border. The tablet features in the Albert Memorial Chapel.

The photograph is accompanied by a caption: 'DAVID. THE tablet of David is here given with its surrounding border, in order to shew the manner which the bas-reliefs are employed. These border, though exquisitely beautiful in design and colour, are unfitted for reproduction by photography, and have therefore been omitted, except in this one instance.'
