Photograph taken through a pointed archway with a view from inside the nave of Sweetheart Abbey. In the background, above three Gothic arches windows and a doorway, is a smaller circular window. Gravestones populate the foreground of the picture.

The Cistercian Abbey of Dulce Cor or 'Sweetheart' was founded in 1273 by Dervorguilla of Galloway in memory of her deceased husband, John de Balliol whose embalmed heart she kept during her lifetime.
