Following Albert’s premature death, Victoria commissioned the creation of photographs and decorative objects that memorialised her beloved husband

    A gilt metal photo frame in the form of a horseshoe containing a photograph of Prince Albert (1819-61). Prince Albert is depicted full length, standing and leaning against a column. Beside him is a table on which sits a small statuette of the Venus de Milo.
