    Photograph of a half-length painting of Prince Albert by Franz Xaver Winterhalter. He is turned slightly to the left and is wearing the uniform of the Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. He is wearing the Order of the Garter, the Order of the Bath and the Order of the Golden Fleece. The photograph is surrounded by watercolour illustrations of flags and military items painted by the military artist Orlando Norie. Prince Albert served as the Colonel of the Grenadier Guards from 1852.
