Photograph of a view of Torc Lake, Killarney. In the foreground is a body of water and the rocky coast. In the middle ground is a land form covered in shrubbery and trees. There is a mountain in the background.

A carbon copy is adhered on top of the original albumen print. Carbon prints are more stable compared to albumen prints, the latter prone to fading. Carbon copies were therefore created for posterity.
