Photograph of a rowing boat containing two people silhouetted against the water. In the background is the black shape of an island in the middle of the loch on which is the so called 'Wolf of Badenoch's Castle'. The Wolf refers to Alexander Stewart, the Earl of Buchan (1343-1405), who owned the stronghold.
The name of the loch derives from the Scottish Gaelic meaning 'Loch of the Minnows'. The loch is situated in the Highland area of Scotland.
