Photograph of Mrs Duncan, wife of Charles, seated in right side profile in the doorway to a house with her children, Jessie, Jane, Mary and Alice. She holds a baby dressed in white. A young girl sits on the same side as her mother and holds a doll. On the right stands a girl holding a book and in front of her stands another girl wearing a dress with horizontal designs.

This photograph was probably taken in 1861 when Wilson was commissioned by Queen Victoria to take photographs of the Queen's Keepers and their families.
