Photograph of the new Balmoral Castle with the clock tower on the right. In the foreground is seated a small boy in right side profile on the lawn, wearing a kilt. A folding chair stands to the right of him.

Wilson took a number of views of Balmoral Castle from this perspective and often feature subjects in the foreground. Other variations feature a man lying on the lawn or a man seated on a bench in the foreground.
