Balmoral Castle from the North West

There are several versions of this view of the castle that were taken by Wilson that feature a man in the foreground to add scale to the composition. In some of the photographs, the man is different, but it is possible that William Gellie who was employed as Wilson's assistant, was asked to pose for the photographs when he accompanied the photographer on his trips to England and Scotland.
