Photograph of a rectangular silver plaque chased with a scene of the Crucifixion. The depiction of Christ on the cross occupies the centre of the upper half of the plaque. Crowds of soldiers in armour, some on horseback, and civilians, including the Virgin Mary, occupy the lower half. The images of the Sun and the Moon are shown respectively on the left and right corners of the plaque. The walled city of Jerusalem is visible in the background.
