'Una and the wood nymphs'; Una among the Fauns and Wood Nymphs

Photograph of the painting 'Una among the Fauns and Wood Nymphs' by William Edward Frost (1810-77). The painting depicts a scene from Book I of The Faerie Queene. At the centre of the painting, Una is seated wearing a light colour, long sleeve gown. Satyrs and nymphs surround her. The painting is photographed in its frame.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of Prince Albert (1819-61). The painting remains in the Royal Collection (RCIN 407162).
