'The Cardinal Infant Don F. of Austria'

Photograph of a painting after 'The Cardinal Infante Don Ferdinand of Austria, in Hunting Dress' by Diego Velázquez (1599-1660). The sitter, also known as Cardinal-Infante Ferdinand (c.1609-41), is depicted in full length, holding a rifle. A dog sits in front of him, on the right.

The painting is a copy of the work currently held in Museo del Prado, Madrid. At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of  Colonel H. Baillie and was believed to be by Velázquez, rather than a contemporary copy.
